Qi Moves

Qigong is typically practiced for at least 20 minutes or more. Qi Moves practices have been inspired for a busier lifestyle and are intended to provide benefit in less than 10 minutes. When possible, you should supplement these relatively short Qi Moves with the longer practices of Golden Lotus Qigong.

Qi Break (standing)

This QiMove can be done throughout your day.  It is intended to be done while standing.  There are 3 main parts. The first part helps to release stress and tension from the neck and shoulders. The second part improves the flow of Qi through the lower back, spine and arms. The third part aims to release tension and improve the flow of Qi to the head, for greater focus and clarity. 

Qi Break (sitting)

This QiMove is intended to be done while seated and can be used throughout the workday to reduce stress and improve focus.  There are some differences from the Standing version however there are still 3 main parts. The first part helps to release stress and tension from the neck and shoulders. The second part improves the flow of Qi through the lower back, spine and arms. The third part aims to release tension and improve the flow of Qi to the head, for greater focus and clarity.   

Qi Rise

This QiMove can be done in the morning or during the day to activate the three main energy centers and balance the flow of Qi through the body.  It is intended to be done while standing.  The first part activates the main centers for Qi in the body.  The remaining movements improve the flow of Qi into and throughout the body, helping to create a harmonious balance to your day.

Qi Unwind

This QiMove can be done in the evening or anytime that you wish to release unwanted stress.   It is intended to be done from the standing position.  These movements gently help to release tension from the body, chest, abdomen, and head.
